tbh, the mc reaction felt pretty realistic. sure, as the reader, you can say that "obviously ignoring ilya is going to be worse" but who's to say that if he continue to get closer with the mc, he wouldn't get worse with others? just look at what he does when the mc was hurt or almost got hurt, who's to say his reaction won't get even worse than that? someone that obsessive can be a disaster either you ignored them or you indulge them, he can go to the extreme either way
and maybe then you can say "oh he should have treat him like normal, in balance, not too much and not too less" but how do you know that balance, it's not easy to balance that and the mc is clearly trying to figure that. i feel like jerry knew that the guide book isn't the end all and be all but the possibility of what could happen is still scary and it is real life for him so he need to be sure with his decision, it's not a game that he can retry when he pick the wrong decision

agreed. she really isn't even that bad *now*, all things considered. admittedly, she was really rough to go through in the early chapters but the bitter feelings lessens over time. though i can understand if people had stopped reading because of her during the beginning, it is curious why there's still recent complaints about her when she's not even given that much screentime in recent arcs, and the trio's relationship overpowers everything else.
yess exactly, like i dropped this for a while too just to let the whole arc passed and now that the red haired girl isn't appearing as much anymore but ppl still talk abt her, it's just annoying. i want to see people reaction and their comment on these precious trio friendship, how silly they are, how their personality is so different but they fit the best together if the red haired girl "ruined" the manhwa, then the trio friendship saved and raised the manhwa to top ranks for me

He's literally trying to have a normal life with his family but enemies from his past wanna eliminate him. Like he's technically on the th run. I can only assume having more allies will ensure his family being safe as opposed to being isolated and and not having something to fall back on
sure but until when then? it doesn't rlly feel clear what the end goal is or when it's going to happen because if it's just him eliminating enemies from the past then that can goes on forever
i love karhan and the way his character is written sooo so much, like i know there's a lot of characters that basically has the same trope that he does but the way karhan is spefically written felt so unique and it felt so realistic. and yes, i fucking hate karhan's mother but oh my god, the way his backstory is built, how he do stuff for the sake of being loved, how him being neglected had made him so starved for love and made him a people pleaser (which is curb by his assistant lmao), it felt so perfect
and the way that even after war, he doesn't lose that kindness nor does he suddenly become fearless to stand up against his mother. the fact that he, strong as he is, still struggled to deal with his mother is so painful but also hit so close to home for me because god knows it doesn't matter how strong you get, it somehow felt like you turned into a helpless child the moment you tried to stand up for yourself against your toxic parents
and i love when he knock on his mother's door, trying to tell her that he's now with ilya bloden. i felt so proud of him, of how that simple moment felt so heavy and meaningful bcuz that's literally the first time iirc that he actually stated something to his mother that was strongly against her wishes (at first) and i know that take a hell lot of courage
