i know karhan brand of ml where the ml is actually not as the rumors had said and he's not that bad is basically a cliche atp BUT the way karhan is written genuinely didn't feel like a cliche.
maybe bcuz for most of the other misunderstood ml, they aren't rlly bothered by the misunderstanding that much? so to see ml that rlly care abt the misunderstanding and bothered by the rumors but somewhat resigned to it is just a little bit different than normal. and i genuinely love how obvious karhan is with his emotions and he's genuinely really sweet and not even in the sense of "only being nice and sweet to someone that he cared", he's just a nice guy that got a fierce face and horrible rumor surrounding him
