I think it is what happened in the original book. She was normally killed by brook. So they showed how she killed in the original.

I legit thought Melissa was gonna claim Yuri has her own lover. OMG IMAGINE YURI STARTS TO DEVELOP A CRUSH ON MELISSA (hehe yuri (⁎⁍ᴗ⁍⁎)). The plot of the original story is gonna be messed up.
