Guys i’m kind of struggling to follow the storyline. It’s super good but primarily the relationship with chairwoman lee and incheol and also the other guy that’s been with chairwoman can someone help me break it down PUHLEASEE like im so invested rn
And also with pyeonhwas mom and incheol im assuming she was someone they pushed out, but the phone call scene i was a bit lost and like clearly incheol is being left out the loop of alot, i dont know im just slow rn
I don't know how helpful it will be but I'll try to explain. Incheol is the very good obedient dog of chairman lee so there is a high chance she has been using him in questionable works without him actually realising how dangerous it might be. "The other guy"(I forgot the name) worked under lee before incheol and he had been sent to investigate that land problem before. But for some ovbious reason(most likely to trap incheol in some shady thing) both lee and the other guy aren't saying him everything. It's like they're waiting for him to find everything by himself and fall in danger.
And one of these is pyeon's mother's case. That time lee was just about to win election and she might have been already eying pyeon's family land. But if she just tried to take it then it might have blown the news and she might lose the voting. So (it's just my theory) there is a high chance she staged pyeon's mother's death and sent incheol there to gaslight him into thinking that he somehow caused her death and make him regret.
That police officer pyeonghwa mentioned might also be in chairman lee's team. What if he has been grooming pyeon so that the land under his name doesn't get misplaced in the time being. And now lee sent incheol to snatch that land from pyeon. Now here's the plot twist...incheol is still unaware how he is connected with pyeon and lee is hiding everything from him.
