I think chapter 40 putting a lot of opposite things. Joowon filmed the hot scene while Haesoo and Taku made love. They both will have a photoshoot with Taku, Joowon’s concept is holiday (something funny, happy) while Haesoo is lost love. Joowon is alone in Haesoo house while Haesoo wakes up at Taku’s house ... I don't know why but maybe the author hides sth in it. There is no Haesoo’s internal monologue thorough the entire chapter is also a noticed point.
About why Haesoo still lied to Joowon. I think he probably doesn’t think so much. He took the phone, got a message, answered very quickly before Taku called. I think Haesoo still acts in the habit of answering arbitrarily with Joowon. From the beginning (chap 28 or 29), Haesoo wanted to hide everything about Taku so lying is the simplest way to end all further questions. I think Haesoo has feeling about Taku, but it’s really new for him and he is not sure about it.
This chapter makes me have a strong feeling that three of them will separate at the end (￣∇￣").
If they're all gonna part in the end, I hope that they will achieve happiness.

As long as it's not like the kdrama "Marry Him If You Dare" where the lead ended up with one of the guys but they didn't show who it was.That would be frustrating hahaha
ss1 shows how uke (Haesoo) is changing, I wonder ss2 will show us how seme (both Joowon and Taku) change? Besides, I am quite confused about the timeline. I used to think chapter 38 is a day after he came Taku's house but it seems I was wrong, it was still that night. And the last chapter, it's about 5.30am in the morning, Haesoo says he should leave but Taku invites him breakfast right?
I think the "family dinner" up until Taku and Haesoo sleeping together, as well as Joowon filming is the same night? Hahaha the timeline is really confusing. And then Taku inviting Haesoo to eat breakfast with him and Joowon inside Haesoo's empty apartment occured the morning after.
So Season 2 will be the two guys' perspectives? Inch arresting hahaha
When Haesoo went out for smoking in chapter 38 I used to think it's a day after because the sky wasn't dark. That's why in chapter 40, when Taku pulls the curtain, even I feel it's quite bright but still not sure about the time (￣∇￣").
But Haesoo smoked inside Taku's studio so we don't know if it was the next day or not.
I guess we just have suspend our disbelief regarding the timeline (and how the night seemed so long haha)
Not really, the panel right before Haesoo saw Taku played with the lighter (chapter 38) was outside. It might be Taku's house terrace and so bright so I thought it was next day early morning, but now, we know I am wrong. The author maybe forgets about it (￣∇￣")

Omg it really is! This is honestly crazy I almost got spoiled from a completely different thing thats not even related to Love or Hate. & I'm also going to miss the spoilers and all the serious analysis on symbolism and all the foreshadowing
Do I miss this week update in mangago? Everyweek beside of waiting for the author’s update I also love to read the summary here. I know many accounts on IG have a summary too but I am still waiting for the spoiler in mangago. There are many topics from yesterday but I don’t see chapter spoiler like many weeks before.
According to what I understand until chapter 38, I wonder why the author gives Taku Prosopagnosia syndrome? He can’t even recognize his own face but can read Haesoo’s face really well, is it any special connection between them.
I was also surprised that there were fewer spoilers for chapter 39. I guess people were preoccupied with fanwars. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I think it explains why Taku pays attention at Haesoo from the first time and feels interested in him. Let’s think about it, you don’t recognize anyone, even yourself but you can see, read and remember one face. Maybe that’s why Taku can find him quickly in the crowd with many unrecognized faces. I feel it’s quite interesting (in romantic way) and it seems they have a special connection. Yes we still don’t see much about Taku but I think the author will portray it in next following chapters, at least we all have seen his kind of softness in chapter 36-38. It makes his image better a lot.
About the storyline, can’t wait to see their upcoming photoshoot (both with Haesoo and Joowon). It seems Haesoo will struggle between his old and new feeing soon. It’s not easy to accept a new feeling when you have a really long relationship but the author has hinted a lot of analogy and I wait to see which she will show us in ss2.
