You’re defending it by saying it’s not that serious since it’s fiction, even if it is fiction it can still be criticized for how it portrays serious topics. If rape is romanticized, presented as acceptable, or has no meaningful consequences, it can normalize unhealthy ideas about consent and that’s harmful regardless of whether it’s fictional or not. And 90%of yaoi manhwa has the same theme it’s always rape and it’s not being represented right and that made a lot of people being fine with the topic. I also like it as a plot to show how it messed up the victims mind. I’ve watch the k drama, this trope is overdone a lot but it’s one of my fav that did it kind of right, also I kind of don’t like the fact that the fl/mc wasn’t actually unattractive at first when she was supposed to be, but it wasn’t the worst yk.
Honestly I can relate to the main characters a lot, also I like the fact that the mc/the girl who didn’t know she was into women was the most mature and came forward and everything. And the fl is really relatable to be honest.
After watching arcane I realised smth about me that I didn’t knew existed, I love older women and after that, I started reading more and more age gab manhwa and this was one of my fav.
This type of trope is so hard to find in queer manhwa especially gl, and I loved it, it’s so cute except the curse and stuff but it was really interesting and I wish there was more manhwa like this especially gl
