A Zen’in acknowledging Toji’s strength, going as far as to mock his fellow clan members by saying, “the sin of a small fry is not understanding true strength”. Which he also implied that of course he is not a small fry cuz he knows Toji’s strength. Still, Naoya falls short because his misogynistic view blinded him from recognizing Maki’s strength. That punch should be a reality check.

First, lemme tell you that Skelly’s dad and butler did not give me the bad vibes——strict, overprotective and smothering maybe but as we can see, his dad said not to force Skelly to go home and let him come in his own accord. No parent is perfect but it seems Skelly’s dad is making the effort to respect Skelly’s wishes—so, no I don’t see him as a villain. Same with the butler, he has that mentality of old people who thinks just because they know what’s best that it is the right thing to do on behalf of another person—that being the case he wasn’t forceful too to the point that he HAS to fulfill his mission. When he failed, he did not attempt any “rescue” after.

Who I think is the villain here, like really, is the goblin professor. I haven’t read in advance yet so this is just pure speculation. Why I think so is due to numerous red flags: 1) her creepy smile in like her first-second appearance upon discovering Nabi. There is definitely something off with the way she was drawn; 2)Her reason why she’s invested in Nabi and her contempt with the cat doctor for his ethical ways which means she is the type to do “anything” just to fulfill her desires; 3)her external persona is wholly different to her true self, she lacks compassion compared to the professor she’s projecting in television, hiding her selfishness, AND taking advantage of donations to further her own personal agenda

NOW FOR THE SPOILER:
I kinda took a peek in the last chapter which is 128 in raws and this is why I know Skelly’s dad is not the villain because
1) He did not kill Nabi
2) He indulged Nabi (she braided his hair while Skelly and the butler looked on—aw, what a grandpa)
3) And I think the relationship between Skelly and his dad was fixed because he visits his dad once in a while with Nabi
Additionally,
4) Nabi did not return to the human world. Her current age as of 128 is that of a 3-5 years old. Skelly became a human dad y’all
5) Skelly’s dad is the demon king
