Same! It's cause dif people upload chapters twice or up to 3-4 times so we're waiting on chapter 27 to be uploaded and it jumped back to the start bc it jumped to someone else's upload

they have a very toxic relationship, I’d say the bottom is a red/black flag and the top is beige/yellow. a lot of violent sex and rapey scenes so if you don’t like that this is def not for you, but I enjoyed the drama and character nuance

the only flag flapping is the rainbow one, nothing to worry about

idk what flags to describe them but i'll show you a glimpse of the story: the story does starts of toxic and it would be for most of the story. the sex scenes are very rough since that's one the author's goal—giving in to your bodily instincts (alpha) and well, brett likes it rough. skip chapters 20-21 if you don't like a rape-y sex scene bc in that chapter, hayden was sort of out of it due to his rut. he did stop as soon as the safe word was used. AND rape was also implied in a later chapter (this time not the ML did it), but it is sort of relevant to their conflict as a couple.

it is definetly worth a read 100% but if you're the type of reader that sorts of flatten the characters to simple black and white then this is definetly not for you. the characters, especially brett is a complex one.
