Why is so much complaints
Season 2 portion of the manhwa changed in the emotional narration compared to its respective novel. It feels shallow as opposed to novel walks you through the characters, you understand every emotion. We are missing a lot of the character development because manhwa didn’t give the inner struggles and feelings of both characters. Like when Taekjoo and Zhenya are hunting and Taekjoo makes a run for the mansion, I thought “really? Like he has a gun?!! You are an NIS agent c’mon Taekjoo you are shooting yourself in the foot! Also YOU have a gun!?” But in the novel during hunting he’s there to memorize the geography of the island as he keeps Zhenya under watch and busy, then he realizes he didn’t pay much attention because he genuinely enjoyed what was happening and he panics! He panics thinking “did I just enjoy spending time with this monster? No.. I’m adapting too fast this can’t be happening! I have to get the hell out of here!” Then he runs towards the mansion for the helicopter. You see how different the 2 narratives are? Same for Zhenya. manhwa-only readers are missing a lot of his inner chaos the novel makes you realize “this dude doesn’t know the concept of love in any way shape or form, no experience even from his own family. That’s why he can only fukk up everytime a small inconvenience comes along like being rejected.
