I recently watched fight club the 1999 film, and damn do the main character and Ricky make up Tyler Durden and The Narrator's "Relationship" in a Queer lens, an example of the parallels is the chapter 37 where they sit on the tub, it mimics a scene in Fight Club to a tee. I think it might have been the reference at this point.
They talk about their childhoods and their shitty upbringings the same way, I'm boggled at how much they look a like. It's so fun to see things like these. the narrator being a mirror to the MC also explores so much about his desires and what comes of him.
It's also in Ricky and Tyler that you see how just moving to the beat of the world no matter how dark it leads gets you places, fighting fair isn't even an option for them, just like Tyler Durden. Wow thanks for reading my analysis ╮(￣▽￣)╭

IM SO FUCKING BLOWN AWAY WITH THIS STORY MAN. it's insane and downright a good time if you imagine it as a blockbuster instead of a gritty hardcore told In real life story lol, i love this so much. It doesn't take itself too seriously and I'm always on my toes regarding the characters, I'll miss them.
