At first she seemed really interesting but then as she interacts with others, that sense of self awareness I thought she had was packaged with a lack of motivation in life and naivety. It’s why this is kind of hard to read when she interacts with MLs and even one of her dark haired friends, (who I felt was distancing herself because she got the sense that she had different priorities in life compared to her two rich friends). What Bom needs is self love and self growth. She needs to use that sense of self awareness that she has to be happier with herself. Embrace her ‘ugliness’, and ugly expressions, in order to be her most authentic self. She definitely needs to be like her older sister, separate herself from her family in order to grow and face the real world. Other wise, there is no way she’ll have any type of romance with Jaehyun. It already seems like he has other stuff he’s dealing with and other priorities in life. At this point in the story, the only reason he seems to be in contact with Bom is because he remembers and cherishes those brief memories had with his first love and the effort he put in to look for her.
She said ‘I’m in love with you’ like she was pregnant or something and like it was gonna help keep her there lol
I like that she wasn’t wishy washy about not forgiving her dad and separating him from her life completely, usually from what I’ve read, they get swayed a bit or they even think about it for a few days. But she was straight forward with it, she was not going to forgive him or allow him back to her life. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
