The backstory is rather weird but weirdly I've read a lot of supernatural animal bls where the whole kid thing is an issue and it urks me slightly idk. It feels wrong but other than that I loved genuinely every part. I just wish he was older when they met, like of age so it's more first crush and not crush on your downright substitute father

I can't tell if it's off this manga or just like used this as inspiration but I love both and I love the difference in characters, the art and the story
