I will start of (without spoilers) with saying that if you come into this expecting a beautiful, straightforward love story like most manhwas— you will be disappointed. (Personally, I still love it)
Although love is an important factor in this story, it is clear that *Politics* are the main focus. Which is why many commentors state, “the story/politics is dragging,” it’s not… if anything I think the politics definitely deserves at least 10 more chapters to be better-explained, especially what is happening in the North.
This Female Lead (FL) is so complicated— she’s difficult to understand which leads many to find her frustrating , however, i think that makes this story so much more interesting compared to FLs in other Manhwas. Shes calculative, intelligent, has extreme awareness, and is both the most selfish and selfless character in this manhwa. Her relationship with the ML and other characters in this story is not black or white and simple (which is where i think most ppl start to find her frustrating) but i love it! 5/5
(SPOILER) Also, revenge is not her actual purpose to coming back in time. She literally states multiple times that that’s not the reason she went back in time for… idk why so many readers are mentioning revenge. This includes for both the FL and the ML.
