So I have noticed that when ever the sex in a yaoi is a bit censured - even if it's just the D, a lot of people are complaining in the comments. So I was wondering if everyone feels that they want their doit very explicit?
Because personally I prefer when it's just a bit censured. And if the D is there, I don't like it to be too detailed. That may or may not have something to do with me being a lesbian.

My beef is more with censorship - it is like the way the Church had fig leaves attached to all of the nude Roman and Greek statues - altering an artwork. I like great stories more than needing smut. Perhaps it comes from having used nude models during my art education, I look at drawings of human form as art as opposed to sex (the stories provide the sexy bits)
