. Slime has always been the present duke . The duke form is humanoid form of slime. He is half monster and half human.
Long time ago duke ancestor married a humanoid monster and bore a child. The child born has partial monster blood flowing throught them . Thereafter children born to every duke has monster blood. The blood gave them immense dark powers but these powers will become uncontrollabpe afyer reaching age of forty. So every duke who had this blood would go to forest behind their palce and end thier life
