TLDR: Yarun was a human saved by Fenrir and as a result became a demon. The current story is an alternative time line Fenrir created by reversing time for Yarun
. Basically in the original time line as a kid Yarun falls into the lake during the dead of winter and is saved by Fenrir but is kept in a void alive. After leaving the void he returns to find that is his family is gone and he is has been dead for years and no longer a kid. Yarun is chased out of the village and finds himself in the grand duke dukedom. He ends up in the grand duke care, during which Yarun realizes he is no longer human during that time Fenrir also stays by his side mimicking the grand duke. As Yarun and the dukes builds more a relationship Yarun confesses to the duke that he is no longer human (not actually sure what he told) and the grand duke locks him up in a room in a tower and is extremely obsessed with him.
His aunt:
First timeline
Yarun runs off after having a fight his aunt watches this happen. She becomes a knight and later gets killed by a monster.
Second timeline:
Leaves to work as a maid for the duke to afford an education for Yarun. However she remembers the first timeline and knows what happens to Yarun and that he didn’t die. However she realizes that the dukes obsession with Yarun in the first timeline happens due to him seeing a painting of Yarun and tries to stop him from seeing however she fails leading to him having that ugly ass drawing of Yarun.
As she tries to leave the castle she unknowingly catches the attention of the duke’s father (idk if he too remembers but her eyes trigger his curiosity or something) He starts taking her blood idk for what. But later she escapes with the help of ordin the duke as a kid. However as she flees on a wagon the monster that killed in the first timeline too remembers and comes after her. To prevent it from killing the driver she jumps off and tries to fight but ends up devoured.
After Yarun dies or whatever happens the world is sent into an eternal winter I don’t know if Fenrir caused can’t tell and then he rewinds time creating an alternative timeline where Yarun is with his mother until she dies.
So some people do remember the original timeline but think of it as dream or something else. Fenrir (obviously), ordin the duke, Maltese, the knight commander (has dreams can’t remember his dude who guards Fenrir in the basement ) and later Yarun remember their first life or the original timeline.
Fenrir and Yarun leave to his village after fleeing Ordin. Everyone wants to kill Fenrir to stop an eternal winter from happening like in the first timeline. While in the village the demon that killed his aunt is attacking the village. After everyone is done fighting Ordin attacks Fenrir and the commander fucking dumbass son comes up and stabs Yarun cuz he saw him lose his hand after touching a demon killing weapon and thinks he is demon.
For one final time Fenrir saves Yarun by giving up his life. Yarun wakes up 4 months later at the Ordin’s house in summer and no Fenrir.
The End
Now this is where I’m fucking lost:
*In the original timeline after Yarun is dies the world falls into the eternal winter caused by Fenrir it seems that people use hybrids to try and seal Fenrir away. (In this timeline hybrids aren’t seen living amongst the dukedom like now).
Bullet point time: wild guesses cuz I can’t read the raws
* Fenrir kills the duke I guess
* Yarun’s aunt the duke’s father’s obsession
* Fenrir gave Yarun his heart to keep him alive turning him into demon
If this is sort of what happens then the ending is disappointing unless fenrir somehow comes back
The final chapter was posted yesterday so their might be side stories

but as predicted dam can heal the planet
Dam wants to the heal but faces pushes back from everyone as they know he’ll fall into a deeper sleep than before and don’t want to lose him. However after (can’t remember his name) the boy always with Mishi ends up hospitalized from the dust after trying to protect Mishi from it dam decides he needs to do it for everyone. Most of the group also realizes they can’t stop or make decisions for dam.
Dam basically for the remaining chapters says goodbye to everyone who all realized he is leaving. The hardest goodbye is Mishi’s who doesn’t want him to go. They hug and Mishi realizes dam hugged him meaning he holds no strong emotions (most likely cleared his mind in order to hug one final time)for Mishi and Mishi lets him leave the shelter.
Dam wakes up to a hooded Mishi (his spirit? Idk) and Mishi tells dam about what he missed, how he handled dam leaving him, and how the world changed. Then mishi disappears. Later a child comes across dam in the forest and briefly talks to him and he disappears.
Dam is now a god that remains hidden in the forest and the world is returning to normal.
I had forgot she didn’t even read the damn book because she’s monologuing like she know that he 100% did it. His connection to each victim is so minuscule like all except for Bridget’s death. The 1st he fired why the fuck would he go out of his way to kill her.
Then if she had simply asked questions to lay out his possible alibi suspecting would have further would have made sense
Then girl you read the intro of the story where it just mentioned that he was person of interest not even a fucking suspect come on and you act as if it’s him. You are supposed to be a lawyer come on person of interest and suspect are not the same damn.

Fls mother was forced to rape the duke by the kings brother.
It seems to be part of a fucked plan to have the kid that is produce from this to marry within the royal family. The fls mother was actually priest or noble that have powers from another nation that the royal family took over. Only the emperor knows this.
So yes he is justified to hate her but his hatred for what happened to him is misplaced.
As well as her coming to the house he brought her there to protect his youngest daughter that is his fault. If you can’t stand the sight of the her leave her on the street.
I believe he is also aware that the emperor set him up, but instead he blames an innocent child for what led to her birth. He decides to punish another victim of the emperors crimes instead of the man himself simply because she is weak and powerless and the true villain is strong and powerful.

Also (going off what u said) the mother also sounds like she was also forced to have sex with him... So they were both victims. I would say she was stupid to call her bio dad when she died. She should have found someone in the community to take care of her.
My best guess would be she probably assumed that the duke would be the best person to protect his own daughter from the schemers. Instead he handed her right on a silver platter what was more than likely intended from the start of this fucked up plan. Although he didn’t know that was their goal. He could have just ignored the letter but he wanted to use her.
This level of cruelty lead to a child ultimately leads to someone’s death. I wish someone would point this out his dumbass and his equally dumbass kids.
