just finished chapter 220, like i obviously knkw he comes back but oh my god. the hype and the prophecy for this death and him losing all his remaining lives and it feels so real that he’s going to die. and everyone sadness and the framing of it oh my god i’m so sad it’s so sad oh my god kim dokja. like i know he’s coming back in the next chapters cause theres 300+ chapter our rn BUT DAMNNIT IM SO SAD
only on chapter one rn but this premise is so cool i had to comment. the different perspectives on the average historical isekai and how terrifying it is. and how clueless and lighthearted the mc’s perspective is vs everyone else who think they just witnessed the awakening of the devil. ugh sooo cool
i love these two and i understand it’s a slice of life so it’s not going to have crazy conflict, but i reeeaaally feel like it should be ending soon. i think it’s interesting to see the different ways the mc and fl relationship effects everyone in the story but i’m ngl everything has kind of been resolved and atp i feel like theyre just making up problems to drag the story out. still entertaining, but i do hope were near the end
that was really good! story was really fire and honestly i was really hooked the majority of the story. ending was kind of mid and way too serious for the tone of the story but still really good. okay now my thoughts
-okay so i really did not know how the mc felt about fenrir. like he was sexually attracted to him because he looked like the ml, but honestly it felt a little akward why he kept having sex with him? like he LOOKS like thr ml but he’s a whole different dude, he kind of just felt like his twin. and the authors notes kept describing them as more of a dog and owner type of situation, and even thr extras did so i was a little confused on the vibe for them. childhood friends? idk. and he cared about him because he saved him, but i genuinely did not gaf about him dying, like he has always been an issue and kept raping the mc, i really couldn’t care that he died
-the end part fell off so bad, the entire series was very light hearted and funny and then all of a sudden it’s talking about their past life where he raped and kidnapped him and he self harmed to free himself and oh my god?? LIKE OUT OF NOWHERE HOLY SHIT.
-the timeline was really confusing. like looking back on it it made sense, but reading it initially i was so confused. i was so confused and had to take many moments to figure out the timeline, it was a bit too confusing but still enjoyable.
still overall, really really good so fire

this might be the bare minimum, but at the very very VERY least, at least he has not raped him. like it’s fucked up but SO many bl randomly make the ml a rapist, at least he is just kidnapping, threatening, and coercing him! small wins!

But we need to realise that if they do, it is not in character AT ALL. Did ML not say at the beginning of them having sex, that „he does not want to feel like he is forcing his partner to have sex while doing it“? I’m not 100% sure, but I could bet he said something along those lines to MC once
tbh modern day bl authors will have a character saying “i will not rape you and rape is bad” and still somehow add it in later chapters. like the bar is in hell for the genre
