This is actually true and confirmed. Knowing the end of the novel was them HEAVY implied, so yeah, the focus is not on their romantic status but more like, family to each other
Shj even referred to hyj as "yeobo" in side stories of the novel. And it is a term only used by marriage couple. So, they are canon but the focus of the story is not romance.

honestly, I love this manhwa, it has a very goofy vibe with some emotional scenes that makes it worth it. But when I was skimming through the reviews of this manhwa on some other website, everybody was complaining how the story is all over the place and how the mc is so selfish with no character development. And I heavily disagree because mc does have character development, and the story is supposed to be somewhat heartwarming which the manhwa portrays well. What do you guys think?? Is it peak or not?? because I think it is.

Then i was caught up with the latest chapters a year ago and i forgot how the plot goes so decided to read back from the start XD. However, from early intro chapter - i realized nonee of this "nurturing other heros" would've happened if MC really committed to his promise (when he received the wish) to not go to dungeons again. the story might have went to a different direction.
