Kkinda thought the same thing back then(Chap 5) until I realized Sangwoo is just Bum's uncle, but worse and not ugly, so it's still given me the creeps to ship the Abuser&Rapist with the abused one.

Maybe because we feel like it's not entirely their fault that they end up the way they are. It's not as if Sangwoo's a born sociopath, his environment made him that way. Same with Bum who just needs someone to accept and love him. We wish things could have been different for them.

That makes me feel a little better but than I think about the Uncle. I have no sympathy towards him and even if they said he was abused when he was a kid I would probably still hate him. Maybe it’s because we actually see what happened to them BUT even still I know I’m just making excuses for them.

I honestly feel bad for Bum, because in contrast to his uncle or Sangwoo, he didn't became abusive, he didn't want to hurt others.

Maybe it's just because I relate to him except the Stalking stuff, which was because he seeked affection though, not because he intended to harm anyone.

I don't think the things happened to the Uncle go as far as leaving him with emotional trauma. It looked like his acts were mostly driven by his lack of control over his rage and hatred. And he's a drinker who mistook his nephew as his ex-lover. I cannot feel any compassion towards him so far either

Because you go all heart eyes on yaoi getting raped and abused and any stuff that shoujo or straight stories has and think they're so good and lovely when they show their love. As if you think gays don't get raped or anything

Besides, if the story is weak or extremely cliche to the point you'll die, or even if the mc is stupid I ain't gon' read it. (Note: love is an illusion. Mc will slowly but surely drive you crazy.) if the MC in this wasn't so naive though.. I'd love it. It's just she's too naive..
