... What was the first manga / manhwa you *first* read? I grew up when you did need to decide weather you use internet OR your telephone,... so... I went to the library. I did not want my parents to know what I read. It was nothing special, I just wanted to have something by myself. I did like to read. And I did like amazing artwork. Long story short…I read 'Angel Sanctuary'
My first manga was probably demon slayer or gakuen alice or something, but tbh I’m not sure. All I know for sure was it was probably the manga of a (probably shoujo) anime I liked at the time. Actually I think I just watched voice overs of mangas on YouTube because I didn’t know how to actually pirate yet.
I started reading manhwa on webtoon, i don’t remember the exact title but i saw an ad for it on YouTube, and it was a fairly cliche historical manhwa abt a girl from the countryside and she becomes a concubine and a queen or smth and there’s a love triangle.
Then I entered the real world of piracy and (other than doujins), my first yaoi was Who’s Your Daddy. Yup that’s right that slop was my first yaoi and even at the time I HATED that shit.
Mind u this was all before I even knew the incognito tab was a thing. I was straight raw dogging this shit. My parents could’ve gone thru my search history (which they almost did many times) and found this shit. So I manually went thru and deleted each manga page from my history
