tbh i can't quite put my finger on what's missing for me but the ending didn't quite deliver as much as i would've liked. still this is a good read and deserves a higher rating
i don't like ml's sudden change of heart at all. was the forgotten childhood friend really necessary here when the story is already moving at such a fast pace
