It's literally just a story of parental abuse and the brother developing a mental illness that makes him do vile things tho the mental illness wasn't very accurately protrayed, I hated the harmful messages this manhwa perpetuates. It demonizes people with schizophrenia, I know this is probably obvious to most people, but plenty of people with schizophrenia live happy normal lives, the vast majority of whom are not violent at all, i mean the author clearly researched schizophrenia, but didn't research enough to know that even among violent people living with schizophrenia, sexual perversion and murder are not typical? schizophrenia doesn't make you suddenly write rape fantasies about your sister.

I'm really solely reading this for the female lead i loved her character it was satisfying seeing her badass moments she's strong and intelligent, at the same time, kind and gentle her relationship with the ML seemed so forced to me in the first place he RAPED HER and yea it was NEVER satisfactorily resolved it was cheap way for the auther to show how cruel the ML was and treated the whole thing as if it was not a big deal at all and for those who try and justify the rape or won't acknowledge it JUST BECAUSE she consented to the marriage and agreed for him to have her if she was a virgin, doesn't mean she wanted it she entered into the agreement under duress so stfu
I fucking hoped for this shit to turn out to be good at the end by killing hyunje but no, the author thought it was fun to fuck up our brains like that and would get us a free ticket to experience hell. I hate this…I wish Subin was still alive his relationship with Junghoon seems like it has more substance in it tbh that at least would have been more interesting and he could have changed the entire tone of this story the ending is just making it all even worse.

This manhwa had me on the edge of my seat. I even gasped a few times. The author portrayal of stockholm syndrome was really well done and the way the atmosphere is captured, and how you can feel the anxiety as well as doubt and fear from the MC’s is genius. I recommended it to anyone who’s into psychological bl’s you will definitely like it.
