Isn't she supposed to be super strong why is she useless? Like use the spear thing or magic before close combat
Some Rofan authors have no abilities to write action scenes

She’s hiding her abilities on purpose. They know “Damian” can fight with a sword already, so demonstrating further sword skills would be reasonable next move because she’s been building up to this reveal. Showing her magical ability at the same time would mean putting too many cards on the table at once. She’d probably use a sword even without the other knights because she knows she’s being watched and because her cousin would feel that much more humiliated if he was surpassed by her using sword skills alone

It seems her magical power and sword art are one since both wizards and swordsmen use mana, mc is supposedly showing her strength from now on but she isn't doing it?.
When she fought the brothers she used magic to separate them and gain advantages but her she did not even use it in anyway.
It's either they are shortening the scene in manhwa and novel fleshed fighting scenes better or just it's a lousy action scene either way.
No need to defend the author I'm just pointing out how Rofan is weaker in that regard (action scenes) compared to other genres

Ahhh, I’m sorry, it’s my bad. I must admit been a while since I’ve read the earlier chapters and I really only meant the context, not the action itself. I think have a really good point about rofan and action scenes. Tbh the only excuse I can think of in this case is that the author truly cannot draw horses, but that’s too weak. I know they’re not a staple of the genre, but if you’re going to be doing a series with a lot of action scenes, especially where it’s the protagonist that’s supposed to be impressive, one would expect better.
What was the lamp jinn manhwa it was satisfying from architecture to food to clothes and didn't feel like a disrespecting a certain culture this one falls short on making a world from real world history..
Covering faces is indeed a religious thing, but not abt distractimg men and most dont cover their faces just heads, but wardrobe like mc's and princess jasmine isn't real that is just dancer clothes, and in a desert environment you cover your face because of sand and only if there is heavy wind or sandstorm. Plus harem's weren't "plaything" at least some form of respect existed.
I just find this lacking I'm world building, they could've just removed her righteous type of monologue, that is completely unnecessary to the plot, and built the "desert kingdom" on a specific culture while still making it fantasy-ish (which is total bs in this case since neither persia nor ottoman empire were so dry to build there capital in the actual desert, sand doesn't hold buildings ffs...)
This all falls back to the effect of orientalism and lumping all other non white history as one
