So I read the webnovel till secound Sidestory (which isn't a sidestory in my opinion because hoooyyy boy so much stuff)
All of it point to Gwen killing Amon and actually save Ninefrom his cruel fate of being a dragons mate. Everything. Gwens preperationsz knowledge, research. Even the mentioning of another dragon mate surviving the death of the dragon.
And what do we get? Right, a SITUATIONSHIP where two wants to bloddy kill eachoter but dont do it because Nine would be sad. Instead they play all pretend that this works out
Event hough (!) It is established thag Nine mostly only crave Amon due to his bond as a mate. Hell not only does it get mention a lot he himself is not sure since he genuinely loves Gwen.
And later.. Amon is not even important for Nine recovery. Gwen does all the shit and work together with Lu and Yi Wu... Amon is pretty much useless... so tell me again why not kill him and let Nine HEAL?
My theory: Nine isn't Amons real mate. He just snatched him. Cause those two have no chemistry, common ground, anything that bound thems except the fucking mate bound. Nothing else.
So if Amon dies I think Nine still end up unstable BUT then the story simply works as it is now. Gwen tries to get him stable again, they change trastasa completely, get rid of the rituals,Nine rules whatever. The outcome would still be the same. Woth the only difference that No dragon no bound no trouble. Cause thats what it is now to. Amon is in seclusion. He is just a statue there wasting space. He is not important what so ever,but apparently author though "Oh no we can't kill him because Tree" ... instead we let him live and Nine sufferes still but different now thanks a lot *rolling my eyes*
Beside that outcome the story was good. Angsty, thrilling. I live the characters. Amon is not a bad written characterbut the ending is.

Yeah the progress is slow at the beginning but then it's arguably fast. Which also proof forme, that it was intended for Gwen getting Nine in the end, but somewhere the author change it to this 3 people situationship. ╥﹏╥

I love gwen so much for this. All the sacrifice he made in the novel and even willing to give up his life in a dark souls like boss battle with amon *chef's kiss he's the whole green package.
I wanted to love amon as a character too I swear but its like the author tried too hard to make him unfeeling for the sake of plot to have a villain yet still forces him to us readers and nine. Even at the climax of the story he was still unredeemable for me up until he revived gwen, that one made me forgive him a little.
I love me some well done 3p relationship in my bl but this js not it (づ￣ ³￣)づ i still love gwen soo much tho if only he could have been the sole ML of the story. My only pet peeve for him is that he was open to urge nine to cheat just because nine couldn't leave amon because of the bond

The foundation for Amon and Nain was curiosity of one another and Amon and Nain shares the love of the arts (Amon enjoys drawing, Nain loves making music), but due to Amon's nature (and his cult), it ruins Nain's mental state.
As for Gwen, their foundation came from pity and change. Both good n bad. Gwen kept pushing Nain which honestly didn't help too much as it gave him fleeting happiness, but it's better than Amon, honestly.
I wouldn't kill him off though, but yeah, the way Amon handled things, I can see why you think that. And your theory? After reading ICSYS, that could be a possibility, but I also think that they would've been better off just living in solidarity since both are skilled hunters.
Yeah I didn't like the affair. I couldn't get behind it at all, which is probably why I rooted for change in Amon. I also didn't like how late the author was when it came to Amon to feel sympathy after so long. It only made the situation awkward. Nain honestly was not ready to be anyone's partner. He's too naive and fragile. He needed more nurture. What made it interesting was how easy it was to manipulate Amon as well. That annoyed me.

Yeah. I think the difference between Yanu (from I can see your stats) and Amon (both are in the same universe) is that Yanu makes an attempt to blend in to find his mate. Amon was away from society and they flocked around him, showing nothing but violence.

No forcing! Gwen was very gentle. Yes there is smut though its not described in detail but Gwen takes care of him too. He spoils him its so cute <3 with Hot cocoa! XD
So.. Nain was very distress cause there should be a big ritual with a lot of death, and he wanted to prevent it. Gwen noticing Nains distress tried first to calm him down (its a little strange the scene but I think it's also translation maybe)
Anyhow there they have the first time. Our baby really felt conflicted then but he couldn't denie that a) he liked it and b) he liked Gwen.
Amon found out cause he could smell it later I ylthink after the 2nd or 3rd time... I can't remember clearly. Even though Gwen took care of cleaning and all he didn't reached ... deeeeep.

Yeah I know it's a slow cooking manhwa, o read the 100+ chapter novel... But people...pls of you can handle manhwa with mistery on it where everything isn't on a silver plate then at least look through the comment section (even jumping back 5 or 7 pages) and read the whole thing there.

Approximately page 5 to 10 in the comment sections are all accurate xD I rarely saw one the last couple of weeks being in accurate. Like I said the whole novel had been spoiled with detailed and not details even about Gwen.
And sure I can keep out of them. You are right. It's just sad that there are no theorising or something like in other sections and just plainly asking for spoilers all the time. That's what bothering me.
