Dude I think you just got confused. Esper dude literally called Dowon over to guide him every single day including holidays and his birthday before losing his memories. We’ve already seen how he lived with nothing in his house, a will written up ready to go, and learned that using his powers forces him to see traumatic moments from his life and hallucinations of losing people he cares about. Dude was literally obsessed with him before losing his memories but was awkward and distant because he’s traumatized and afraid of getting attached to someone he could lose, he never hated him. That was just Dowon’s initial perception based on feeling over worked by a guy who is unusually shy and quiet.

I’ve read the novel though so I can also say the plot is going to pick back up again soon but the main characters needed to develop a stronger bond first for it to have an emotional impact and make sense. But like idk reading comments on this site make me feel insane. Proof that reading comprehension is dead + the desire for every series to be perfectly morally pure + explain every detail right away. Idk maybe more readers need to just wait until a series is complete before reading if they can’t remember what’s going on when a new chapter gets released.

Maybe because you read the novel you have a deeper understanding of the story. Maybe I don’t remember all of the details either. But if I love a story I tend to remember them. I just think that this story maybe isn’t resonating with me as much as some other stories I am reading at the moment. So I was just expressing my opinion of how I am feeling about this read.

It’s not like I want stories to give me everything right away otherwise it’s not a good read, just I’m not feeling how this one is presenting at the moment. I don’t really know how to explain it.

I think it’s great you feel strongly for this story and that it’s a great read for you, just everyone has their own cup of tea I guess.

I hope when it picks up more like you said I can get sucked into it and maybe have a re-read.

That’s fair. I just end up seeing a lot of comments in general on almost every series expressing that they don’t know what’s going on or asking questions that have already been answered. Most of which don’t have novels or I have not read the novel for. It gets frustrating and I definitely aired that frustration out a bit too much in my response to you. Like I said, the comments on this site make me feel insane at times. I think yours just hit after seeing a few too many comments in this vain on several other series I’m reading.

Yeah I get it. I can get like that at times too. Especially if it’s a webtoon I really enjoy I don’t like seeing comments hating on it, being like what’s the point. Etc. so I can understand where you are coming from. No worries !!
