The MC woke up after dying in the future having lived a terrible life. He hung out with snobby people and his esper didn’t like him even though the MC had a crush on him. I also suspect he died in the future but I could be wrong.
When he woke up in the past again he promised he would keep his distance and do what was necessary to keep the esper alive and happy.
MC is also a guide with a secret esper power that he decided to keep secret and I’m pretty sure it’s invisibility. In the beginning of the manga he writes down important events he remembers happening but there’s one mega important one he can’t remember the name of. But first event was the kidnapping?/assault of a guide so he went invisible to save them. The other event that he forgot was on some island that was gonna get blown up so he got a job at an amusement park to work there until the event happened
