I don't get it, why do they have a different perspective for each other's situations in high school
because as you said different perspective.. Yuyang didnt bother to look out for anYone else beside himself because he was also being bullied but that doesnt mean hes not gonna help someone in need. most likely the guys that were bullying him were the same guys that bullied the other guy, but for yuyang all he saw was that oh its the guy whos bullying me and now hes bullying a random kid..
Because YuYang was just defending himself, but the moment the cutie pink haired boy (sorry I'm bad at remembering name) stood up to help him, he started to defend him as well ! But for the pink haired guy YuYang always helped him when Yuyang just did it as a pay back, as a thanks. Maybe if pinky didn't saved him before, he would not afford to help the pinky because he was himself being bullied, that's what he said. (and he did say only pink haired helped him during these three years. So I'm sure if nobody help you you don't really want to do it when you're yourself bullied don't you).

I don't get it, what really happened with his mom? Like he thought she wasn't recovered in the beginning or what?
The mom took long to recover but she eventually did. When she did, he’d started loosing his good memories so he forgot about her. Thats when they realized his condition and he started going to the hospital for treatment.
