Here's a longer more honest review. I like the story. I think it's very well written in a lot of parts, but bad in some. The memory loss thing was sort of goofy and I did not like it until I read how the author handled it, and showed the progress and how Dooshik dealt with it. I ended up liking it alot in the end.

As a victim of sa that supports fiction that explores these topics, I think the handling was mid to average. If the author has a 'kink' to it, so be it, many victims like me also do as a way to gain back control, and I do not know the author's personal life, it's none of my business. However that being said, if you want to tell a meaningful story in a genuine way, letting your kinks take the wheel- unless you just want p*rn and do not care about the plot (which the author seems to care about the plot I'd say)- I just think it's a bad idea. The sa was not the problem in the story, it was how graphic and often it was. Now as I said, that's fine if that's what you are going for, but the very focus on the plot and romance creates a very confusing signal especially to readers who are not interested in such dark graphic content, it creates a strange mix of readers. I think the author should've toned it down on the graphic sa, and maybe cut some of it out, or use 'implications' instead.

I wish we had gotten more fluff and happy moments from the couple, and I can't believe I'm saying that as someone who loves dark romance and dark dramas. It's just a little miserable and un-rewarding to watch characters we love suffer, only to get a tiny bit of their joy at the very end. But maybe that's just me being human. We like good and comfort better than things that make us sad.

Anyway, this is my number one favorite story now. The abuser deserved far worse, his death was not very satisfying. It would've been more impactful if Jooha had ended him himself without the cliff scene.

The couple made me cry and wish for a relationship like this. It's so sweet and romantic, yet spicy. I want more. I'm so sad I can't read more.

I've always been more of a dark romance type of guy. Even then, this bl is so incredibly written, so incredibly sweet and romantic, that I feel such a strong way towards it. It makes me yearn for a love that not only satisfies my heart but also the butt. You want decent writing with no bs? This is the best pick. Not only is the top someone you can crush on and look for in a real partner, but also the bottom, which is rare in bl. Yes, this bl will have you attracted to both. Their personalities got me kicking my feet as a grown man. May love like this find me one day.

Yesss - marshmallow love is what I call it - never had it but it’s soo fluffy!

Good horror. uncomfortable and hard to continue reading. I remember finishing it and thinking to mysel"wow, I'm glad that's over with." The writing is very decent, it's clear the author wants to cause discomfort to the reader. Would I call this bl? Personally no. It's no 'boys love', it's 'boy love'. One mentally unwell man who falls in love with a straight serial killer. The concept of a stalker x killer is really sexy on its own, but this is not that. If you like really messed up characters being explored through fiction, I suggest reading this. My only criticism is that some of the smut feels out of place and not fit for what the story is trying to tell. A lot of the smut plays with the horror, but some of it was not needed and can cause confusion when reading.

This bl made me laugh, made me puzzled, and made me nut. The dark romance is very good, but the writing is questionable. The bottom is likeable and he actually has a personality that is brought out in SOME chapters, but not fully explored in my honest opinion. The top is decent, I liked when he showed his alpha fangs, his jd vance eyeliner is on point. I'd say this is probably the most vanilla dark romance (aside the assaults that the bottom goes through). My favorite chapter was the one where the bottom calls the top beautiful when he first lays his eyes on the alpha at that polo game, and then we get a beautiful shot of the alpha staring at the camera and looking like a horse. My other favorite thing about this whole story is how often the bottom ends up in hospitals like he's got Markiplier syndrome. I'd say this is a great comedy if you squint. I stopped taking everything seriously when the bottom lost his memory. The smut was fire tho.

I loved every second of this. The smut? Incredible. The writing? not perfect, lots of bad but also lots of good. The top? perfectly PERFECTLY dark and mean. The dark romance? incredibly seasoned. The bottom? .....We don't talk about the bottom. I liked Dan better at the end. In fact, the ending chapters are very well written in my honest opinion, and what brought the bottom's personality truly. Season two was def better in terms of character development, season one was not, but season one is good if you like smut. Overall, I say this is a really decent dark romance for those who like dark romance. If you do not like dark romances, this is obviously not going to do a lot for you even with the character developments. A solid 'high' seven out of ten.

I feel i should explain why I do not like the bottom. It's because he's written very poorly. He cries and acts almost like a person who was just born yesterday. His entire 'lack' of personality revolves around others. His grandma and the top. I really do not like how overly kind and selfless the bottom is. The reason why I prefered him in season two is because he grew more of a personality by pushing the top away, and by setting boundaries. I just wish he had thought of himself a bit more. I think this whole story would have gone a million times better if the bottom was a fiesty, angry type to 'challenge' the top's superiority. I understand that the author wanted a soft bottom, but the writing did not deliver. Dan was underdeveloped as if the real important character was the top. That's what I do not like.

I really wanted them to smash on stream as a couple ngl. Got really disappointed when they didn't.
