I wonder if Compton will go back to playing piano after he's barred from conducting.

WOW I haven't seen a BL where they do the leg wrap squeeze thing, it's such a great observed behavior. The author does such an amazing job depicting natural human features and behavior. The way they stand, hold their arms idly, nothing is spared from careful consideration!

everything else I've been reading lately is just to distract myself and bide the time until the next update drops :P

Interesting fact I found about Horowitz that mirrors Heejae and Garam's dynamic:

"In an article in The New York Times in September 2013, Kenneth Leedom, an assistant of Horowitz for five years before 1955, said he had secretly been Horowitz's lover:

We had a wonderful life together... He was a difficult man, to say the least. He had an anger in him that was unbelievable. The number of meals I've had thrown on the floor or in my lap. He'd pick up the tablecloth and just pull it off the table, and all the food would go flying. He had tantrums, a lot. But then he was calm and sweet. Very sweet, very lovable. I can totally see why reading Horowitz's biography would inspire a BL. What a toxic and complicated man.
