I’m pretty sure the author is pushing the kid cause he’s very popular with the jp audience, but I don’t think they’ll ever go through with it. He’s simply, a free money button and fun way to up the stakes for MC via psychological torment.
The psychic guy has also been getting a ton of screen time as another potential bomb, though the dude is getting psychologically tormented instead of MC lol. I hope Koga becomes another bomb, his gimmick is so goofy..

If I remember it right, basically don't expect too much. Our MC is devoted to the FL and while the ML likes him, it isn't mutual, at least not for a looong while and a lot more plot.
