I haven't finished it because of the divided discourse around it bc if there was a risk it ended up being romanticized I didn't wanna take it (personal trigger) but now that I think about it everyone who has read and finished it whose opinions I've read says that they didn't feel like it was romanticized and everyone who says it's fetishized always...... reply

I've seen this in BLs a lot but also know some people like that irl but friends abandoning their friend who gets blackout drunk and leaving them to find their way home on their own. In BL they just ditch them while they're passed out in a random alleyway and it always ends with the ML finding and taking advantage of them.
