I'm always so mad that we got robbed of a healthy, mutual affection, when the premise was so good (chap 28&29 especially. genuinely had to stop cause it got so toxic, finished eventually because the ending chapters are cute.
it's so frustrating how authors ruin a good story with so much sexual violence, imo it's a bit of lazy writing(?), because instead of using their conflict as a way to further explore their characters and dynamics, they just add two rapes and call it a day
