Why yaoi couples don't adopt?? like i get the mpreg its cute but why not adoption???
Maybe since most yaoi's ends if the journey of the story ended that the author wants and the most typical endings are when the two gets together and all resolved etc etc that they wouldn't think about having a kid or so on since they focuses on themselves. Like the story ended with the characters still not in the stage of life where they could think about having kids. (Excluding omegaverses)
While in other cases where they reach in that stage in life where they could adopt or get a child etc either in main or side story, it's mainly the Author's choice whether the characters choose the path of adoption or not or the will of the characters.
I also think maybe yaoi Authors wanted to Romanticized(idk if this is the right word for this lol) mpreg since they want to strengthen and show the feminine status of the uke better in the couple but who knows? Maybe the characters don't want to have kids or they wanted to focus on each other etc etc.
I hate the mc. He is insufferable af. i'll still read it. i wanna hate him more.
