if u read danmei, I can't stop recommending "sammy's children's day" it's js that good. it got a manhua but ig it stopped updating. it also has a live action drama but it's story is teeny tiny bit diff plot wise but nevertheless it's so good. the cast is soo peak like this is exactly how i imagined the characters.
why is everyone annoyed by this season? isit the same main couple?

Because the author decided to their happily ever ever and turn it into an unnecessary torture fest. Nothing about this new addition adds to the overall story. Instead of creating a new story and character to put this turmoil, they decided to put everyone through wringer with threats of violence, kidnapping, SA, forced breakups, etc. No one asked for this. It taints the rest of the story, A LOT! It isn't a "tiny dose of angst" with the way the author went about it for the story that was already pretty perfect.

U sure the whole fuckass season was a TINY bit of angst? Ig if u were subjected to even one percent of the things that happened in this season, it would just be a tiny part of life which u shouldn’t be whining about, duh.
