I HATE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS. I read this in my teen years and I remember dropping it. Couldn't recall why, reread it and actually pulled through the end. I remember now. Spoilers ahead.
Nobody can convince me that the end and side stories were enough. Besides the og Han Siwon I don't feel nothing for ANY of these bi***a**es. I can't believe Lee Johoon and Han Jiwook were let off just like that. I wanted each of them along with the kids that assaulted and bullied og Siwon to be grotesquely tortured for years and be traumatised, to not be able to live adequately or peacefully ever. To suffer even through adulthood, to regret being alive and pass away painfully slow. I wanted the parents to know what Jiwook did and be destroyed a lot more than showed. I wanted to see Johoon to be groveling in the ground and begging for forgiveness. I wanted to those assaulters to be castrated. I think I've expressed my dissatisfaction enough, I really wanted to let it out because WTF.
Though joohoon likely didn’t get any punishment, I don’t think that’s the case for jiwook. Pretty sure the ending for him was meant to imply that joohoon finally caught him and is going to make his life hell like he originally intended. He’ll likely be treated the same way as OG siwon
Um wtf??? Also, if there was no incest and if I look at the plot purely, I would've preferred the ML physically tortured the second prince (little brother) for years in a dungeon instead of sexually exploiting him and told him he will never become the king to mentally destroy him as well. Because wdym he had inferiority complex and killed his own brother. Except for rape, I totally understand the ML wanting revenge. I genuinely hate the bottom, hope he suffers but rape is just not acceptable.
