Johan (blond guy) is chasing a stranger at this point - a new, energetic person he has never seen before. That plus, his crushing guilt for mistreating OGFL, and he wants to apologize. She's dead bro, you were too late.
And then there's scumbag Edgar (black hair) who used and manipulated her from the beginning. Rather than loving her, it feels more like he's possessive of her - ONLY BECAUSE SHE WAS JOHAN'S EX-WIFE. It's his ego and competitiveness. Our girlie shouldn't have to get sandwiched by two sad excuses of a d!ck.
The only green flag partner here is the Crown Prince of Britt who genuinely loves his wife. He spoils his younger sister too much, but bro is just trying to be present for his family, albeit the consequences. Yet he still attempts to get her to escape to safety.

I think the whole plot is a case of MC pov bias. Never once in her memory showed that Cyrus stabbed her, therefore killing her. She only remembered his bloody sword, and her dying.
It may be possible that someone else stabbed her but somehow, MC only remembered Cyrus and his bloody sword and inferred he killed her, without realizing perhaps it was someone else.
Cyrus is a goner, we can all agree. And perhaps he made a wish to his sword to turn back time and make things right.
