Pretty sure it was implied that he did end up finding out that it was forced and made contact with him out of obligation and he was still on his asshole era and he told him that he needs to be clear and tell him when stuff like that happens and not have a victim complex where he isolate and he told him he didn’t tell him because he doesn’t want to be pitied all the time
