... where I like Anne enough to also wish for a small side story of her relationship with a Kabuki actor. I love this author's work. Always wonderful.

Oh dear it sounds like the baby has Suryeon's powers as well, but is too physically weak to handle them. They already mentioned in previous chapters that she lost the other ones. It sounds like she has trouble maintaining a pregnancy, but she needs the child in order to become the ruler of Rahan.

"It's like a fist inside. Not that I've ever done that..."

Nice that he felt the need to clarify that to himself. I guess it's like when people say "It tastes like garbage. Not that I would know, but..."

I think it would have been easier if the author has just had one family blonde and one family as the dark hair instead of the alpha has the darker hair and the omega has the blonde hair. I keep thinking the two blondes are brothers and the two dark haired are as well.

Then you add the fiance Matthew is also blonde with a similar hairstyle to the younger omega brother and it gets doubly confusing. If they had considering giving Matthew something more distinct, it would help. Now you got three blondes who look very similar.

I can't tell the younger omega blonde apart from Matthew.

It will be easier to tell them apart as next seasons are in color. And I find the art style change too.

If Athy was actually 15 that kiss would be a little weird, but since she's actually over 30 in mental age, it's adorable. I loved that part between her and Lucas.

I reread some of the beginning. Indeed the original Athy was execute by hanging.

If what Lucas implied at the end of 70 is what I think he implied, she has a unique magic that can reverse time. But so far it only seems to have been triggered whenever she died. Not only can it reverse the clock, but it can even reincarnate her into other lives. On the third reincarnated she brought with her the memories of her second life. However, she may also have memories of her first but remembers them as a strange storybook she happened upon in her second life.

But with each reincarnation it seems like her magic gets stronger. It's almost like a magic of rebirth. Now Claude has absorbed this magic, but his body can't control it. It's progressively turning back time. He's not just forgotten Athy, he's actually forgetting her. Athy's magic is providing fuel to the curse he put on himself. Every time the curse starts to fade again her curse turns back to the clock to its peak. Athy's magic is like instant healing for the curse. Every time it's weakened, her magic restores it back. That's likely why Lucas can't do much because her magic immediately undid his attempts at removing the curse.

My own theory of why Jeanette is a stabilizer is because her magic directly interferes or neutralizes the curse in someway because she is a being brought to life by dark magic. As an entity of black magic she likely absorbs parts of the curse or neutralizes it somehow.

Claude put that curse on himself likely because he was so bitter about Athy's mother choosing to have Athy against his wishes even though the birth would likely kill her. He couldn't stand the grief so cursed himself to forget everything about Athy's mother and to deaden those "unnecessary" feelings as he often calls them. He wanted to feeling nothing. The only feeling he spared was his hatred for Athy. That was the feeling he let stay in his heart.

However, the punishment of what he did is that it turned him into a complete monster by taking away his ability to feel anything but hate. This is likely why he responded in the original story so strongly to Jeanette. She seems to neutralize the curse and he was able to feel something beside hate. By the time Athy was 14, Claude's curse had killed his emotions so completely that feeling anything at all was like getting a drink of water after days of walking in a desert without it.

However, meeting Athy at 5 blocked the curse from completely killing his emotions and reversed the effects of the curse. Well, until the Blacky Incident.

Just my thoughts.

To be called trash by your crush you've yearned and admired for years. That would be heartbreaking for anyone. The Painter has tied much of his hopes and dreams to his teacher, likely always telling himself he'd be happy just being near his teacher. He probably only distantly dreamed of there ever being intimacy. The Painter's love was pure and giving.

However, the teacher finds the Painter so low and disgusting that he seems nauseated by the thought of the Painter's adoration and love. I think deep, deep down the teacher is envious of the Painter. The teacher is not talented at poetry or writing. He was stuck as a rural town teacher in the sticks. Yoon saw right through him. The man has zero talent, but that lowborn Painter is a natural-born artist brimming with talent that the teacher will never have.

I think the teacher is a bitter, insecure creature who has to undermine or tear down the Painter's self-esteem because he can't stand the thought that the Painter surpasses him in artistic talent.

The teacher is just a talentless hack.

The Painter only wishes for his crush to flourish even if he doesn't get anything out of it in return. Meanwhile, the teacher wants the Painter to fail because of his own weaknesses.

Can Yoon go slap the shit out of the teacher right now? Those are some slaps I would enjoy.

Theory. Possible Spoiler.

I think what Lucas just implied is that this Athy is also the Athy who died at Claude's hands. When she died the first time by being hung, her magic awoke and she reversed time and went into another life in our world. That life also did not work out and she killed herself. Time was again reversed and she went back to her original life. This time she remembered her first life as that of a storybook she read in her second life. In the third life she remembered her second life, but only remembered her first as a storybook.

That's my theory.

If so, she is the original Athy but who has lived through two lives before this one. Each one did not work out.

Claude used black magic to wipe out his memories of Athy's mother. He cursed himself so he would forget. However, meeting Athy before the curse wiped out his memory of her mother's face stalled and reversed the curse.

However, when he absorbed Athy's magic to save her, it reignited the curse and took away all memory of her mother and Athy as well. The curse also left him with the hatred of Athy and desire to kill her as he had in the previous life.

My theory is that to free Claude she will have to reabsorb the magic he took from her. As long as her magic remains in his body time will continue to reverse and the curse will worsen.

Just my theory tho.

    Krolshi April 14, 2020 6:27 pm

Bruh, your mind tho. But really this would make so much sense and plus it would explain what Lucas was spouting; it’s the most plausible answer and I’m just gonna stick with this to ease my anxiousness over this manhwa (๑•ㅂ•)و

    Adjoa B April 14, 2020 8:02 pm

Hi. I’m sorry for the downvote. It was an accident

    manga puppy April 14, 2020 8:34 pm

Yes yes I thought the sameee. But the black magic part I think it has something to do with athy’s mom pregnancy and athy sucking out her life force. Which may also mean her magic to rewind things has something to do with her mom’s death

    ZenRyu April 15, 2020 12:04 am

Mind blown.. Dude.. Now it seems the most plausible answer to me too.. The black magic may also have to do with Claude trying to save Athy's mom? I mean what other desperate situation can arise to make someone use black magic?
