My wild guess: the author wanted to do some character developing here, but failed. Because this "development" is literally just the thought that "being lonely is bad, and being with family/friends is good", nothing else. What the heck is that? MC didn't even need it, he wasn't craving for human warm or smth like that ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ The message is okay though, so I let it pass.
BUT(!!!) he is so stupid (in bad way), I just can't. Was he really a successful businessman? Cause I can't see him like one. No, the question should be: IS HE REALLY FROM THE SAME UNIVERSE?!? The guy from "Holy Idol" has more common sense than this MC.
