I'm pretty sure it was a shounen ai manhua. The mc is killed somehow and ends up getting sucked into a game system where he has to be a villain to the dude that killed him (and that dude doesn't remember)?? Honestly not sure if I'm getting two different stories mixed, it's been a while since I've read it. I do remember the first game he was forced to complete had a bunch of levels that were designed to kill him and other contestants unless they beat it. Mc survived a fire by drenching himself with water.
Another reincarnation he had to do with the ml required him to be a prison officer while ml was a prisoner.
It's similar, and I probably did mix up some of the details with that story. But the one I'm thinking of includes the ml stabbing mc at the very beginning while mc was minding his own business. The ml also makes a bet with the system later on that if he completes enough tasks, he can join mc in real life or something like that. Thanks sm for the suggestion tho! :)
*Spoilers?* *Some info might be incorrect*
Uke was a hunter/assassin who killed seme's parents years ago and seme makes it his mission to avenge them. I think seme was a vampire (not sure about this). Present time uke runs an antique shop and seme crosses paths looking for specific item that was used to kill his parents, ends up falling in love and obsessing over uke, finds out uke ended up killing his parents and basically says "oh well, as long as he doesn't leave me".
The art's so pretty omg. I'm invested.
