Straight guy with this being my first bl read, thought the first chapter sucked. Then I got to the recent chapter in less than a day. Has a few funny parts but still just rough to get through. If anyone's got recommendations I'm open
What do you want to read? You went straight to the smut section of this place so it must be hard to swallow. Want shonen ai? Hardcore romance? Plot and smut or plot heavy? Politics heavy?
Read dreaming of the dokkaebi
wonder why u interested in this one
my personal reccomendation for manga is Takara no Biidoro
and for manhwa is One Room TA
My top three right now are Global Examination, ENNEAD, and while this next one isn't technically a BL, nothing BL or otherwise has topped Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (bromance yet pretty much a romance). All three of these are plot heavy though so if you're looking for something not plot heavy then maybe check out Third Ending?
Passion would be a good one to try out. Passion [yaoi] i think the title is written out on this site.
Yeah this might not be the best first
If you have troubles with the smut try reading shounen Ai first. There's whole section on the website. But if you wanna stay in yaoi section, you can filter out smut.
Also there's piles of different tropes.... gangster, omegaverse, guideverse, childhood friends, office romance, isekai, and so much more... so it's really up to what you'd want to read.
I would say it's easier to find wholesome tropes in black and white mangas rather than full colors.
Little warning too, before starting a read, check the comments, usually it's where you'll find the major problems, like SA (sadly there's a lot of that.... but it's up to you to decide if you wanna push past it, sometimes it's worth it, sometimes you just spiral lower and lower)
Hope that helps (~*w*~)

Hang on big bro hang on, no judgement but out of all the ones you could've chose it was this for your first bl? respect, but if you're looking for more then banana fish or given. curious what got you interested?
just sick and bored of same romance mangas, manwhas, and webtoons with boy girl, plots were repetitive. Btw nice name, especially the bts song
Thought it was just going to be like another isekai but it was good. Finished this while on vacation, so I definitely recommend this
