bought latest ch12 on another site just to see what the hell doun’s deal was. so he feels the fl is being pushed into the marriage and doesn’t want to pressure her even more especially as she’s inexperienced. i think he already is hiding some affection for her (there’s a panel of the two of them as kids in the beginning chs) and at least by ch12 he is on his way to falling for her.

I wonder what is the father’s end goal here - is he just a psycho? So far he seems to be tormenting both sons out of pure amusement, the abuse doesn’t really feel driven by the desire/pressure for them to become his next heir (though I know that is a factor that will to come into play soon).
I feel like we’re missing major context since the novel is built around smut, it’s a big part of how their bond grows so in the manhwa it’s hard to buy into them, like they’re cute but that’s all there is?
