I took a short break from the novel cause I was crying during the whole chapter, I came here as a warning for your hearts. The manhua might not be as sad as the novel. Xuemo was successful in escaping and Han Shanyue didn't bother to chase her. Xuemo became friends with the city lord's daughter Yan Ziyuan. They both attended a Zither competition at the invitaion of Ziyuan to her cause Xuemo was good at zither. Xue Yilan at the end of the competition also got invited to go in the boat and talk since Yilan is a master at Zither. Xuemo tries to escape but got caught in a net while she was in the water and almost dorwns because Yilan is taking revenge for last time (when he was also caught in the net and thrown in the water). Little Kilin is on the search/rescue for Xuemo because Yilan took the boat far away and plans to kill everyone. Skipping the DisgUstiNG(●￣(ｴ)￣●) interactions between Xuemo and him, Han Shanyue also joins in on the rescue when Kilin bumps into him. Yilan tries to escape kidnapping Xuemo and make her really old (Xuemo later finds out that his technique is really superb and her whole body/real skin indeed wrinkled like an old woman's). Han Shanyue finally rescues Xuemo and they agree that Xuemo will be a shield from the beauties that go after Han Shanyue? (the novel site I read from has a Google Translate qualityso IDK but that's the gist of it). They both went to Han Shanyue friend' place to cure Xuemo's old lady body.Some drama happened between her and Yunxi (Han Shanyue' female friend) Yunxi like Han Shanyue ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ something EXTREMELY good happened but I will let you guys find out for your self. Also there is some smexy time in the process of removing the wrinkles, I'll also let you guys figure for yourself(づ￣ ³￣)づ. Turns out Xuemo turned into her original body but her FEET were still old and Han Shanyue went somewhere without saying anything so she turned to his friend for help. The way to let her feet become normal was to sully be submerged in a super hot medicinal (pond?) but since Xuemo's cultivation was low she would not be able to breathe. Leading to them deciding to put out her soul temporarily for about two days so that the empty body can be submerged in the medicinal (pond?). Xuemo's soul accidentally got out of the enchantment that Rongyue Tianlan (the friend of Han Shanyue) set up. Xuemo soul got captured by the HATEFUL ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ former only female desciple of the Emperor (also Han Shanyue) and Xuemo's soul got put into a cat. The cat was what the creepy former female disciple got when she and the Emperor(Han Shanyue) was still master and disciple so she treasured it. I don't really know the name of the female disciple let's call her Qing. Xuemo destroys the thing Qings have collected from the Emperor( Han Shanyue) which Qing GREATLY treasured. Xuemo escaped with Ye Feng (this spoiler will be tooo long to explain with him in it. But he's Yan Ziyuan's shadow guard who turns out to be a maermaid. He got captured by Qing while saving Ziyuan) They were escaping underwater and Xuemo in the cat form have a bubble around her so that she can breathe.


Skipping to the IMPORTANT parts and the part i came to WARN about. Han Shanyue was on the way real close to rescue Xuemo with Kilin but became stubborn and turned back to let her suffer a bit to teach her a lesson. Before Han Shanyue turned back, the Kilin was able to talk with Xuemo since they were close and told her that he was on the way with Han Shanyue. Xuemo was really happy since her and Ye Feng are losing stamina and she looked forward to seeing Han Shanyue since she also came to a revelation that she have feelings for Han Shanyue. But the rescue never came. Xuemo and Ye Feng got captured by Qing and Qing took away the bubble letting Xuemo suffocate. Kilin was now suffocating since they are linked and Han Shanyue is now worried and flies really fast to finally rescue Xuemo. BUtttt during the time it was getting Han Shanyue to get to them Xuemo's soul was severly tortured （/TДT)/ . Our strong MC who is always thinking of surviving and living at the moment wanted to die. Qing always pulled back Xuemo's soul when Xuemo's soul was escaping the cat's body and tortures her more. By the tim Han Shanyue gets tgerr her soul is really unstable and is afraid of even a little touch. The MC cries saying that she wants to die. SHE CRIED. All in all it was a very heartbreaking moment that pulled streams of tears down my face. My fragile heart was hurt so I warn your guys, prepare yourself. Now I'm going back to reading.
