i saw a twt with 7k likes for a chapter 45 analysis thread basically saying that Jaekyung is valid for being upset with Dan and I reread this manhwa after abandoning it for 2 months coz of my nosy ass. get ready with another rant.
first of all, it honestly baffles me how anyone can say that dan is the one jeopardizing their relationship when it is jaekyung who always blurs the line.
2nd, what dan does outside of his work is his business.
3rd, dan is PISS POOR, we all know that, and HE knows that. thats why hes doing side jobs to afford the gift. it might be extra and unnecessary but if jaekyung didn't want the gift because of how dan got it, then his ungrateful ass should just say he didnt want it. a decent human being should not even dare to throw a gift. also, is it so wrong to give your employer a gift on THEIR BIRTHDAY?? i mean dan has a personality of a potato and its honestly pathetic to see him falling over jaekyung but a gift is a gift??
listen, i dont expect jaekyung to be a rational person because for the 45 chapters we have seen i dont see how the author can give him a personality outside of being an angry manchild.
the plot of this story is really unmoving like its getting stale. we already know jaekyung has issues and the bar is seriously in hell.
at this point, jaekyung just needs to be put down and dan doing the unaliving would be satisfying because no amount of childhood trauma can justify his rapist abusive ass.
