I just reread the chapter in the main story. She dared to blame him for not seeking her out, after she abandoned her own son with an abusive parent. I don't feel sympathy for her at all. And creating a bond with Byul without Huyeong's consent is also beyond wrong. How dare they cross the line and create this situation. It was only ever Hyeseong's decision to do what he wants to do, and his family should have his back. i don't know if I am overreacting, but everything about this just feels wrong to me.
That was such a good read! I even shed a tear or two. Even though it’s a magical world, the protagonist and her daughter feel like such realistic characters to me. All the emotions and struggles felt real, and their decisions were completely comprehensible.
I did not expect this to be such a great overall read.
Definitely a recommendation!

This was such a good story, truly an underrated gem! If you’re unsure about reading it, definitely do it! It was so interesting, and the characters were far from bland. Everyone had their own unique feelings, emotions, and retrospection.
