The MC never whipped his ass iirc, I think he beated Su-Ah in the firsts chapters. I fo think they shouldn't ship them, more than anything bc its actually obvious that neither of them has feelings for each other, and the old man is just doing it for the love of the game (he doesn't like people that already like someone else, he is just making fun of Su-Ah). I get what you are saying but think back on the chapter where the old man lured mc in knowing damn well he isn’t stable and offered him drinks, got him drunk and took him up to have sex.
