I honestly didn't feel like the side couple was necessary? Wr could've just gotten the ML & MC together, move on from his crush to get closure and that's that. That would've been a great story. The best friend and his love interest just annoyed me especially when he was petty af tryna compete with MC for the best friend's affection. Bruh isn't even a great catch ಠ_ಠ
Is it so hard to have couples with good communication? Or at least develop into one? You have so many chapters, why not show the couple's progress when communicating their needs, wants and even worries. It takes courage to be vulnerable but it would've been a real quality read if the couple showcased that instead of your stereotypical prince charming saving the damsel in distress.

Honestly, could’ve done without the side couple. I’m just skipping their parts. And the redemption arc for JA doesn’t really make up for someone who waited for you for 12 years. It would’ve been more satisfying with a bit more angst, grovelling, and effort. Make him work for it instead of being Yeon’s secretary and then asking Yeon to open up to him just cause he was too self-centered to realise others around him. Should portray JA putting in actual effort cause he’s honestly just being spoon fed rn which defeats making him an actual redeeming character.
Literally I needed a 50 chapter chasing yearning arc
