But I would say I liked this better on my reread.
In a way this is like a sugar sweeter version of bean counter
These two are literally just cuter, but the story is rushed and simple, the stakes never feel as high as they did in beancounter.
Mitski is so lonely he’s laid back about it. It’s like he’s surprised to discover that he could happily leave Japan you know? And while he is also your overworking type, it’s not OCD hahahha
And Volk’s art and looks are just very charming tbh. His face card and puppy vibes are so good （＾∇＾）
