I really can't get myself to like seugha, what do you mean you went off on a child WHO WAS A BURN VICTIM WITH LASTING SCARS about how he should've died in the fire and you don't regret it????? Like acting this way in the moment as a kid is messed up but I can see it happening, but then as a whole adult being so unapologetic about it is crazy
And that's just the biggest thing, idk something about the way he behaves and reacts to his friends is extremely unlikable...
This will forever be one of my favourite manga, and definitely one of the best written pieces of media I'll ever get to see, finally reaching the end after years of re-reading regularly gives me mixed feelings as I am devastated to part with characters I've been living with for years but I'm happy with how it ended.
I hope we'll get some extra chapters to bring the mood back up however, I miss the whimsy they had in their lives before it got heavy.
Reading Akatsuki no Yona really made me feel so much for so many years, and I will forever be thankful for that
I'm so happy to see so many people are still reading skip beat!!!!! And that the scanlation team (love you guys with all my heart, you're doing so good) appearantly chose to wait for the volume to release so we get the completed pages, the last few chapters were a bit tricky to understand for me!!!! Anyways I'm just so happy that this manga still gets so much love and care, I've been reading (and re-reading!!!) for so long that it definitely has a special place in my heart <3
As far as I know, when some mangaka for one reason or another are unable to deliver complete chapters on a weekly or monthly basis, whatever the pacing of the magazine is, they publish a rougher version of the chapter in the magazine and rework it for the actual volume.
It's the first time I've seen such an extreme exemple though, I even had a hard time recognizing the characters at the beginning of this arc.
You can really see the difference if you check the latest chapter compared to the first episode of this arc!
I love this author and re-read all of their work regularly but I always forget how brutal and traumatizing the very first chapter is, it feels violent in a pretty much unrivalled way when it comes to manga/webcomics.
While most characters make sense and are consistent (as frustrating as Hanyul may be to some (most?) I like how he is written, all of his choices make sense given his character), Harold's is way harder to follow: the violence he displays towards Dolph is never shown in any other context, despite Weon, for example, making a pretty good target of that, it feels like it could have been toned down and still have told the same story.
Unfortunately, Harold's punishment makes so much sense with how justice systems around the world tend to work nowadays, and (the bar is extremely low, I know but what is rare is worth mentioning) he at least is properly condemned by Hanyul, although his friends don't react strongly enough in my opinion.
It also feels like the tone of the story doesn't quite match with that first chapter, and it's frustrating not to see Dolph waking up and reuniting with Hanyul, I get that it would've been cliché but clichés exist for a reason, sometimes the cheesy ending is what we need
Anyways, love the art style, like that the story is different from what I usually read, I'll be back! (Although the first chapter will never not feel like getting punched in the gut)
I reread it so regularly I'm tempted to keep track haha, Fuyuki's age is always a bit iffy, but with that being literally the only problem this manga has I can't help but keep liking it. It's just such an easy and wholesome read and I love the no drama one chapter resolution writing style, it's just really relaxing to read... 10/10 forever and always!

I just can't!! I hate Andy!!! They sexually repressed homosexual is homophobic and that's okay trope needs to die!!! Also it's a shame that the author couldn't decide who would care about consent and stick to a choice, because most of the characters' attitude regarding asking for consent changed widely from one chapter to another
I still felt drawn to the story I guess? There were definitely some elements I liked, but I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the last few chapters and did not care about Andy and Martin's couple at all, I wished we'd gotten Nikki's story instead
