i got a question for yall! what kind of bottom r you guys really into or interest when reading BL? ive noticed that these days, most readers seem to be into older looking, buff, handsome bottoms with rough or intimidating faces. ive also seen a few manhwas that isn't get any attention just bcz the bottom has a pretty face. like, are pretty looking bottoms not that popular anymore? btw, i'm asking bcz i'm planning to make my own manhwa, and i wanna give the bottom a pretty look without making him seem feminine, while still keeping him fit and well built. i'm still in the process of publishing the novel, so i've got a long way to go. there's probably a lot of things i'll need to rethink and work on, and i know i should be open to hearing other ppl's opinions too. i'd love to hear your thoughts if you guys don't mind sharing. thanks!
I wouldn’t necessarily say that fem bottoms are unpopular, I think the standards have just simply expanded and not limited to the traditional masc x fem dynamic as it used to be back in the days, so there has been an appreciation for different dynamics like masc x masc and fem x fem, nevertheless there's a lot of room to play around with the overall character design so just make your character how you envision him
